Al Lilac Villas, Al Zahia

DSA were appointed to provide multidisciplinary design consultancy services for Al Lilac Villas at Al Zahia, Sharjah’s first gated residential community. Designed as a premium family-focused destination, Al Lilac offers a diverse mix of contemporary villas and townhouses that combine modern living with references to local and regional architectural traditions.

The development comprises three-bedroom townhouses, three-bedroom courtyard villas, and four- to six-bedroom villas, with carefully considered layouts that maximise usable space, privacy, natural light, and connections to private gardens and outdoor living areas. The architecture adopts a contemporary language of clean lines and simple geometric forms, with distinctive cantilevered volumes and splayed walls defining entrances and creating a varied yet cohesive identity across the neighbourhood.

DSA explored multiple masterplan options to optimise the mix of residential typologies, plot sizes, gardens, and community spaces. The wider development incorporates landscaped parks, pedestrian and cycling routes, shaded pathways, a 5,700 m² Sensory Park, and neighbourhood amenities, creating a connected and family-oriented residential environment. The planning and architectural approach balances individual privacy with a strong sense of community, establishing Al Lilac as an integral part of Al Zahia’s wider lifestyle destination.
