Mall of the Emirates Upgrade
Project Overview
Dubai, UAE
Retail Renovation
The redevelopment of Mall of the Emirates focused on enhancing the overall customer experience and refreshing the identity of one of Dubai’s established retail destinations. The design brings together a series of upgrades across the mall’s interior, arrival spaces, circulation, parking, and external façades, creating a more cohesive and contemporary environment.
Internal improvements include the revitalisation of general mall areas, entry courts, lighting, flooring, column treatments, ablutions, wayfinding, signage, and public circulation routes. The car park is similarly upgraded through improved circulation, VIP valet and coach drop-off areas, renewed lighting, finishes, and wayfinding, creating a more seamless experience from arrival through to the mall.
Externally, façade enhancements and coordinated tenant signage contribute to a refreshed architectural identity, while landscape, lighting, and public-realm improvements strengthen the connection between the mall and its surrounding environment. Together, the interventions are designed to elevate key customer touchpoints while preserving and enhancing the established character of Mall of the Emirates."
