Royal Saray Resort

Project Overview

Location

Manama, Bahrain

Project Type

5-Star Luxury Resort

Inspired by the rich heritage of a Royal Bahraini summer house, the architecture of Royal Saray Resort integrates bespoke details with modern aesthetics, creating an inviting atmosphere characterised by cascading fountains, vaulted halls, and lush greenery.

The architectural layout was meticulously planned to enhance the experience of its guests while celebrating Bahrain’s cultural narrative. The thoughtful arrangement of exclusive lavish villas discreetly positioned around the central Manor House allows for privacy and tranquillity, all within proximity to a pristine private beach.

The interiors of the hotel are infused with a strong sense of location that resonates with what is uniquely Bahraini. Specific patterns reflect the island's culture alongside those indigenous to Muharraq region. The reception lobby features an Arabesque courtyard as its main interior design element, showcasing Moorish arches adorned with fret cut Bahraini patterns. Modeled after traditional courtyard concepts, this space boasts a bold square water feature as its focal point, complemented by an elegant crystal chandelier that adds a feminine touch. Cool off-white marble floors evoke references to pearls, an integral aspect of Bahrain’s pearl trading heritage.
